About Sophie Silver

Sophie is a highly experienced professional dancer, singer and performer, bringing incredible energy, charisma and showmanship to every performance. She began her dance training at her mother’s dance school, Marlene’s School of Dancing, where she became a Licentiate with the International Dance Teachers Association, before continuing her training at Laine Theatre Arts. Sophie has enjoyed an extensive career in the entertainment industry, including performing in the original Zurich cast of We Will Rock You, the UK arena tour of Viva La Diva with Darcey Bussell and Katherine Jenkins, and as a backing dancer and singer for the Pet Shop Boys on their Pandemonium world tour. She has also performed alongside artists including Rita Ora, Take That, Westlife and Jamelia, as well as appearing in music videos for Pet Shop Boys, Rita Ora, Biffy Clyro, Duffy and Pixie Lott. A talented tap dancer, Sophie brings the excitement and glamour of a West End-style performance to her shows. Expect impressive tap routines, full-power energy and her own fabulous renditions of favourite jazz standards — all delivered with plenty of personality and flair.
