About Charlie Keys

Since his early years, Charlie devoted every minute of his waking time to create melodies using the most unexpected tools like bottles, tins, pots, pans, onions and even water. His father was the first to take notice and strongly encouraged him to study electronic keyboard. Charlie was fortunate to have world renowned pianist and composer Rosario Fronte as his first mentor and along his side he mastered musical theory and harmony. Later on he attended the Frederick Chopin academy in Catanzaro to study phonetics and diction. By the age of 12 Charlie had already an active career as pianist and a singer and was awarded a medal of excellence by the president of the Chamber of Deputies Luciano Violante at the age of 17
