About One Man and a Guitar

Phil is a part time care worker and an acoustic guitarist/singer. He won John Lennon Song Writing Competition and was formerly signed solo to A&M Records. He specialises in playing feel good popular soul based songs from across four generations, by artists like Bill Withers, Smokey Robinson, The Beatles, Rhianna, Johnny Cash and Van Morrison - maybe with some of his own too. He also has a repertoire of Xmas songs like, Silent Night and Fairytale of New York and can play unobtrusive instrumental Spanish influenced guitar to create a quiet ambience.
