Mat has been writing, recording and playing since October 4th 1990 when he was 13. Since then, he has recorded hundreds and hundreds of songs. In 1997 he even had the mad idea of recording "an album a month" which he released on cassette and gave to friends and family.in jan 2011 He did this again a album a month Strait out of effort studios . And counties to this day to make a cd a month . Albums now up to jan 2030 Mat has allso had 2 official CDs out . 2001's sound track to our lives 2002 counting on a second . He has a wide range of influences including Marc Bolan (TRex), Prince, Billy Joel, Stevie Wonder and Neil Finn. One of his proudest moments was singing "Kiss" onstage with Prince at a small launch party for "Rave unto the Joy Fantastic" in London in 1999. Although his music can be described as guitar based pop music, it is clear that his influences come from various other styles. Mat's main aim is to make as many records as possible (preferably at least one a year) ( or a month ) and get his music heard by as many people as possible. 4 oct this year sees mat celebrate 33 years in the game .
