Some will talk about the way magic allows us to connect with ourselves, to experience joy, and wonder and possibility. Others about the way it allows people to connect with each other through laughter and emotion and shared experience. Some will talk about the way magic can be used to carry a message. This could be corporate, it could be gospel and everything in between. All of these things are true. But that’s not why I perform. I perform magic to entertain. I like to see people smile, and laugh and go wow. I like making people happy. My job is making people happy and I am truly blessed. That’s why I perform magic, that’s why I am an entertainer – to make people happy.
