About Tom Walker

Tom has been entertaining audiences with live music for almost 50 years. His love of music began as a young child, watching his father perform in a traditional jazz band, and before he even started school he was already learning the ukulele banjo and playing classic tunes and George Formby favourites. A professional musician for over 30 years, Tom performs around 200 shows each year and has entertained audiences across the UK and around the world. His wealth of experience shines through in every performance, creating a relaxed, engaging atmosphere that residents love. As well as performing live, Tom has released two albums of original music, written music for radio, television and film, and composed pieces for the Trinity College London acoustic guitar exam syllabus. He has also worked alongside broadcaster and presenter Mike Read on a new musical. With his friendly personality, outstanding musicianship and wealth of experience, Tom delivers enjoyable performances full of familiar songs, laughter and audience interaction, making every visit a memorable occasion for residents.
