Red Route are an experienced live duo who have been performing together for over 20 years, entertaining audiences with their infectious energy and love of classic music. Specialising in hits from the 1940s, 50s and 60s, they know exactly how to get residents singing, clapping and dancing along. As the long-standing resident band at the Flackley Ash Hotel for over 15 years, Red Route have built a fantastic reputation for bringing the golden era of music to life. Their performances are packed with nostalgic favourites that transport audiences back to their younger years, with plenty of opportunities to jive, sing along and join in the fun. One of the highlights of their show is handing out inflatable guitars, encouraging residents to become the band's very own lead guitarists! For Red Route, performing in care homes is especially meaningful. Having experienced first-hand the positive impact music can have after a close family member lived with dementia, they understand how powerful familiar songs can be in bringing back memories, encouraging interaction and creating moments of joy.
