About Stuart Barbour

Originally from Scotland, Stuart Barbour now lives with his family near Brighton in West Sussex. Stuart’s passion for music began at the age of eight, when he started singing and playing guitar in church. He later studied music at the Guitar Institute in London before embarking on a professional career as a guitarist, performing with a variety of artists. For many years, he toured and recorded with the legendary Alvin Stardust. Today, Stuart is the frontman of the country band The Highway Sun, whose music is available on Spotify. Alongside his work with the band, he performs as a solo entertainer at pubs, clubs, care homes, private parties, and special events. With an extensive repertoire spanning classic hits from across the decades, Stuart’s performances are full of familiar songs that audiences love to sing along to and dance to. His warm, engaging style and passion for live music make every show an enjoyable and memorable experience.
